Start Date: 1/12/26 
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM (37.5 hours/week) 
Unit: Children’s Surgical Services

Job Summary: 
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Valhalla, NY. The RN will provide post-anesthesia care for pediatric patients following surgical procedures, ensuring safe recovery and high-quality patient care.


Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>
	Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the PACU following surgery
	
	</li><li>
	Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond to post-operative complications
	
	</li><li>
	Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
	
	</li><li>
	Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the healthcare team
	
	</li><li>
	Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility standards
	
	</li><li>
	Support patient and family education and comfort during recovery
	
</li></ul>


Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>
	Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
	
	</li><li>
	ACLS and BLS certifications required
	
	</li><li>
	Pediatric surgical experience preferred
	
	</li><li>
	Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
	
	</li><li>
	Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
