Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) – Acute Care | Days | New Mexico | 13 Weeks

HumanEdge Health is seeking a skilled Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract in New Mexico at a 99-bed facility offering acute, inpatient rehab, and swing bed services.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: New Mexico
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • One Saturday/month

  • Holidays required

Setting:

  • Acute care hospital

  • 99-bed facility with 10 inpatient rehab beds and 15 swing beds

  • No call, no floating

Requirements:

  • 1+ years' acute care experience required

  • BLS certification

  • NM state OT license (or other state license if valid in NM)

  • EMR: MedHost

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct OT evaluations and individualized treatments

  • Develop and implement care plans

  • Attend care plan meetings and participate in discharge planning

  • Support patients in restoring and maximizing daily function

Patient Ratio: 1:1
You’ll be an integral part of a collaborative care team, empowering patients to regain independence and reach their recovery goals.
