Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Float Pool (Nights)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 01/23/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekends: Every other
Holidays: Some required
HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department Float Pool in Syracuse, NY. This role supports adult Emergency Department units and requires the ability to care for both adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity setting.
Position Details:

Adult Emergency Department Float Pool
-
Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Weekend and holiday rotation required
Qualifications:
-
Current New York State RN license
-
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care hospital of similar size and acuity
-
Experience with adult and pediatric patient populations
-
Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma designation
Certifications:
-
BLS (required)
Preferred:
-
Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience
-
Epic EMR experience
Skills and Competencies:
-
Strong emergency nursing assessment and critical thinking skills

Ability to perform the majority of patient care skills with minimal orientation and supervision

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
