HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at an acute care facility in the Bronx, New York. This role supports a high-acuity PACU environment with ICU-level patients boarding as needed.

Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years PACU RN experience
License: Active RN license required at submission
Education: BSN not required
Certifications (Required):
- BLS Certification
- BLS (AHA)

Unit Overview

PACU supports higher-acuity ICU-level patients
Patients may remain in PACU beyond standard recovery times due to bed availability and board as needed
Fast-paced environment requiring strong assessment, monitoring, and critical-thinking skills

This opportunity is ideal for a confident PACU RN comfortable managing complex post-operative patients in an acute care setting.
