Travel Cardio Thoracic ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Hartford, CT

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Cardio Thoracic ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a Level 1 Trauma Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. This role supports high-acuity cardiac and neurologic ICU patients and provides additional coverage during surge periods.

Assignment Details

  • Location: Hartford, CT

  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks

  • Start Date: January 12, 2026

  • Shift: Nights (NOC)

  • Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts

  • Hours: 36 hours per week

  • On Call: None

Unit Overview

  • Level 1 Trauma ICU

  • Specializes in Cardiac and Neurologic critical care

  • RN will not manage medical devices

  • Traveler will be trained to work in the Cath Lab PACU to assist with surge coverage

Requirements

  • License: Active Connecticut RN license required

  • Experience: ICU experience with strong background in Cardiology and Neurology

  • Certification: NIH Stroke Scale certification required

This opportunity is ideal for a critical care RN seeking a night-shift assignment in a high-acuity trauma center with no on-call requirements.
