Surgical Technologist

Position: Travel Surgical Technologist III – Days 
Location: Albany, NY 
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks 
Start Date: 01/19/26 
Schedule: 12.5-hour day shift (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM) 
Weekends: 1 in 3 
Holidays: Rotating 
Possible On-Call: Required as needed

Position Summary: 
The Travel Surgical Technologist III will provide advanced perioperative support in a variety of surgical specialties, including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures. The technologist ensures patient safety, efficient operative flow, and adherence to sterile technique while supporting a high-volume surgical team.

Qualifications:

<ul>
	<li>
	Minimum 2 years of perioperative experience
	
	</li><li>
	NBSTSA CST certification required at time of submission
	
	</li><li>
	Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries
	
</li></ul>

Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>
	Prepare and maintain sterile field and surgical instruments
	
	</li><li>
	Assist surgical teams in complex procedures across multiple specialties
	
	</li><li>
	Monitor patient safety and maintain strict adherence to sterile technique
	
	</li><li>
	Flexibility to work rotating holidays, weekends (1 in 3), and potential on-call shifts
	
	</li><li>
	Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure smooth operative flow
