Position: Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technician – Days
Location: Las Cruces, NM
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 01/19/26
Schedule: Day shift, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call: Required (after-hours and weekend rotation)
Floating: Required
Position Summary:
The Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technician demonstrates strong critical thinking and clinical judgment while assisting with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) procedures. This role is responsible for performing imaging studies in a timely manner under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services. Patient care is delivered in a 1:1 ratio, ensuring high-quality, focused care.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience

BLS and ACLS certifications required

ARRT (R) certification required

Active New Mexico license required
Responsibilities:

Perform Cardiac Cath Lab and EP procedures

Assist physicians during invasive cardiac procedures

Ensure patient safety and monitor patient status throughout procedures

Participate in call rotation, including after-hours and weekends

Float as needed to support departmental operations

Utilize MedHost EMR for documentation and workflow
