NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

Travel NICU RN | Start Date: 1/19/26 
Location: Valhalla, NY 
Duration: 13 Weeks 
Shift Type: Nights 
Shift Times: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM 
Hours/Week: 37.5

Position Overview: 
The NICU RN will provide high-quality nursing care in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, caring for critically ill newborns and infants. This role requires advanced clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>
	Provide direct patient care for critically ill neonates.
	
	</li><li>
	Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage specialized equipment (ventilators, IV pumps, monitors).
	
	</li><li>
	Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
	
	</li><li>
	Educate and support families throughout the care process.
	
	</li><li>
	Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and professional standards of practice.
	
</li></ul>

Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>
	Current NY RN License – required
	
	</li><li>
	BLS (AHA) – required
	
	</li><li>
	ACLS (AHA) – required
	
	</li><li>
	Minimum 2 years current Level III or IV NICU experience – strongly preferred
	
	</li><li>
	Previous travel experience – preferred
	
</li></ul>

Submission Requirements:

	ACLS &amp; BLS (AHA)

	Minimum 2 years NICU experience (Level III or IV required)
