	Psych unit serving geriatric adults with multiple medical comorbidities

Role Overview:

<ul>
	<li>
	Care for patients with depression, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric conditions alongside medical comorbidities
	
	</li><li>
	Provide total care as needed; med-surg background preferred
	
	</li><li>
	Facilitate therapeutic groups
	
	</li><li>
	Manage involuntary and voluntary patient status
	
	</li><li>
	Implement safety measures including restraints and seclusion as required
	
</li></ul>

Requirements:

	Current CT RN license
	
	</li><li>
	CPI or CMT certification
	
	</li><li>
	BLS certification
	
	</li><li>
	Experience in psychiatric nursing
	
</li></ul>

Preferred:
