Unit Details:

• Cardiovascular Operating Room

• 4 OR suites

Scope of Role:

• Assist surgeons in the CVOR by preparing and maintaining the sterile field

• Pass instruments and supplies during cardiovascular and cardiac surgical procedures

• Assist in room turnover to maintain case flow

• Support surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe procedures

Requirements:

• CST certification required

• Must be through NBSTA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)

BLS required

Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience

Strong cardiac surgery skills required

Thoracic da Vinci experience preferred

Cerner experience preferred
