Travel CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Fort Wayne, IN

  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks

  • Start Date: 1/18/26

  • Shift: Days

  • Schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Shifts: 4 × 10-hour shifts

  • Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours bi-weekly

  • 96 bi-weekly hours not available

  • On-Call: As needed

  • Floating: May float to main OR as needed

    Unit Details:

    • Cardiovascular Operating Room

    • 4 OR suites

    Scope of Role:

    • Assist surgeons in the CVOR by preparing and maintaining the sterile field

    • Pass instruments and supplies during cardiovascular and cardiac surgical procedures

    • Assist in room turnover to maintain case flow

    • Support surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe procedures

    Requirements:

    • CST certification required

    • Must be through NBSTA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)

  • BLS required

  • Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience

  • Strong cardiac surgery skills required

  • Thoracic da Vinci experience preferred

  • Cerner experience preferred
