Description

Travel CVOR Scrub Technician (CST)
Facility: MountainView Regional Medical Center
Location: Las Cruces, NM

Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 1/19/26
Shift: Days
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
On-Call: Required
Call is split among staff to provide 24/7 unit coverage

Holidays: Required

Floating: Float to main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled

Scope of Role:

Support complex open-heart and vascular procedures in the CVOR
Maintain sterile field and support patient safety throughout procedures
Assist with documentation and workflow coordination
Provide hands-on scrub support during surgical cases

Unit Details:

Patient ratio: 1:1
EMR: PICIS / Medhost

Requirements:

Minimum of 1+ year of CVOR or cardiac OR experience
BLS and AED required
CST certification preferred
