Travel Echocardiographer (Cardiac Sonographer)
Location: Cumming, GA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: January 19, 2026
Shift: Days
Schedule: 10-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Times:

7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or
7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
On Call: None

Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Echocardiographer to support Cardiology Services. This role requires strong cardiac ultrasound skills and flexibility in scheduling, with no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations (echocardiograms)
Accurately assess cardiac anatomy and function
Communicate preliminary findings to cardiologists per protocol
Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures
Document studies and results accurately in Cerner EMR
Maintain equipment and adhere to quality assurance standards

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Echocardiography experience
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
RDCS or CCI certification required (or registry eligible)
AHA BLS Certification required
