Location: Manchester, CT

Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel Psychiatric RN for a short-term day-shift assignment. This role is ideal for an RN with behavioral health experience who can provide compassionate, safe, and effective care in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

Schedule & Requirements

Day shift (AM)
8-hour shifts | 40 hours per week
No on-call requirements

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients
Perform patient assessments and monitor mental health status
Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
Accurately document patient care and observations in the EMR
Support patients and families with education and resources

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Psychiatric RN experience required
BLS Certification required
Active RN license (Connecticut or compact, as applicable)
