Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel RRT to work independently on the night shift in an acute care hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment and newborn/neonatal experience, with on-call back-up available as needed.

Schedule & Requirements

• 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a)

• No on-call requirements

• 13-week assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to adult and newborn patients

• Perform assessments, treatments, and diagnostic procedures

• Manage ventilators and respiratory support equipment

• Draw and analyze arterial blood gases

• Respond to emergency situations and codes as required

• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff

• Document all care accurately in the EMR

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required

• New York State DOH Respiratory Therapist License required

• Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience required

• Newborn experience required (must be listed in submission)

• BLS Certification required

• ACLS Certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience

• NRP and PALS certifications preferred
