Position Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures for adult and geriatric patients in Newburyport, MA. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a consistent day schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and therapies on designated areas of the body as required by the Authorized User.

• Conduct a variety of exams including: Nuclear Medicine stress tests, HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, bone scans, thyroid uptake and scans, thyroid therapy, parathyroid exams, MAG3 renal scans, and sentinel node scans.

• Ensure patient safety and provide a positive patient experience.

• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment in accordance with hospital protocols and safety regulations.

• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record.

• Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program – Required

• ARRT (N) or CNMT certification – Required

• Massachusetts Nuclear Medicine license – Required

• BLS Certification – Required

• Previous nuclear medicine experience in a clinical setting – Preferred
