Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Days
Location: Carlsbad, NM
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 02/16/2026
Position: Travel RRT
Shift: Days | 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Rotating Schedule
Call: None
Floating: None
EMR: MedHost
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 2+ years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
-
Active New Mexico license required
-
RRT credential required
-
BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
Key Responsibilities:
-
Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
-
Perform patient assessments and monitor response to respiratory treatments and medications
-
Perform and document arterial blood gas (ABG) punctures and report results promptly
-
Manage ventilator settings and airway maintenance to ensure patient safety and comfort
-
Follow respiratory care protocols and safety standards
-
Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures as needed
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RRT seeking a daytime assignment with no call or floating in a stable clinical environment.
