Travel LPN – Pediatric Bio Behavioral Health Unit
Syracuse, NY | 13 Weeks | Start 01/30/2026 | Days | 12-Hour Shifts
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel assignment in a Pediatric Bio Behavioral Health Unit in Syracuse, NY.

Location: Syracuse, NY

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts

Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Schedule: Every other weekend and some holidays required
Position Overview:
This role supports pediatric patients in a behavioral health setting. Pediatric experience is preferred; psychiatric experience is required. The LPN will provide direct patient care, support clinical operations, and assist providers in delivering safe, effective care.
Qualifications:
-
Current New York State LPN license
-
CPR certification (or ability to obtain/re-certify)

Minimum 1 year of LPN experience required

Prior inpatient experience preferred
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
EMR experience strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
-
Perform patient care functions with minimal supervision
-
Greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and assist during exams
-
Take and record vital signs and patient progress
-
Set up trays for injections and assist with procedures
-
Administer injections and assist with clinical procedures as assigned
-
Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas
-
Assist with scheduling, filing, chart preparation, and general office duties

Coordinate authorizations with insurance companies and referrals with physicians

Document care accurately in the electronic medical record

Observe and report patient responses to treatments

Participate in unit operations and nursing care activities under RN direction
