Job Opportunity: Travel RN - Med Surg

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other week (EOW)
Duration: 13 weeks
Floating: Required but rarely needed; may occasionally float to ICU for Med Surg Overflow or Step Down patients
Patient Ratio: Typically 1:6, sometimes 1:7
EMR Systems: Cerner, Mindray Telemetry System
Scrubs Color: Royal Blue
Call: No call required

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1+ years in Med Surg nursing
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
Additional:
- Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers (agency must be registered with NM for fingerprinting)
- Must be able to float as needed

Notes

Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated with prior arrangement
Maximum 1 week return to office (RTO) approved

This position is suitable for RNs with at least 1 year of Med Surg experience looking for a night shift travel assignment in New Mexico.
