HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment in Pueblo, Colorado. This opportunity supports a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting focused on improving communication, cognition, and swallowing function to enhance patient quality of life.
Assignment Details
Location: Pueblo, CO
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 40 hours/week
Setting: Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Services
Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore and maximize functional communication and safe swallowing
-
Perform bedside and clinical swallowing evaluations and provide dysphagia management
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient-centered care plans
-
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and safety recommendations

Accurately document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and payer guidelines
Requirements
-
Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred

BLS certification (AHA)
-
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
