HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week acute care assignment in Bronx, New York. This is a high-acuity surgical environment with a strong preference for candidates with cardiac experience.

Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Charting System: Epic

Shifts & Scheduling
12-hour night shifts
No weeknight call
No weekend call
No holiday call
Floating within scope of practice
Unit/department-specific orientation provided
Traveler-friendly facility with frequent extensions

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA required
BLS Certification required
Flu vaccine required – no exemptions
Cardiac experience required
Ortho or transplant experience preferred

Skills & Equipment Experience
Demonstrated competency with:
Laser surgery equipment
Nitrogen- and electricity-powered surgical hand tools
Operating microscope and video equipment
Electrosurgical units for hemostasis
Micro and specialty surgical instruments
Surgical operating systems (total joint arthroplasty, spinal rodding)
Laparoscopic equipment and stents
