Travel Med-Surg RN – Nights 
Poughkeepsie, NY | 13 Weeks | Start 02/17/2026

HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel Med-Surg RN for a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital, Level 2 Trauma, in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a 12.5-hour night shift, every other weekend, no on-call, 36 hours/week assignment.

Assignment Details

<ul>
	<li>
	Duration: 13 weeks
	
	</li><li>
	Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend
	
	</li><li>
	Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
	
	</li><li>
	Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Level 2 Trauma
	
</li></ul>

Responsibilities / Float Areas

<ul>
	<li>
	Float to all Med/Surg floors, ED holds, Legacy Annex (Observation Unit), and surge areas
	
	</li><li>
	Provide care for patients with: chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, trach care, drains, feeding tubes, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, PICC/Central Lines, Port-A-Cath/vascular devices, wound vacs
	
	</li><li>
	Blood/blood products administration; cooling/warming blanket management
	
	</li><li>
	Telemetry interpretation
	
	</li><li>
	Use of Cerner EMR
	
</li></ul>

Requirements

<ul>
	<li>
	Current New York State RN license
	
	</li><li>
	BLS &amp; ACLS
	
	</li><li>
	5+ years of acute care experience
	
</li></ul>
