Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg / Short Stay – Nights
Albany, NY | 13 Weeks | Start 02/23 | Night Shift

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med-Surg / Short Stay night assignment in Albany, New York. This role supports a fast-paced short stay unit within a large academic medical center.

Assignment Details

Location: Albany, NY
Start Date: 02/23
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Weekends: Every other weekend
Holidays: Rotating
EMR: Epic (experience required)

Unit Overview

Med-Surg / Short Stay unit
High patient turnover with rapid admissions and discharges
Collaborative multidisciplinary environment

Requirements

Active RN license
Minimum of 2 years recent Med-Surg RN experience
Epic EMR experience required
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Academic Hospital Experience Requirement:
- Candidates with 1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital must pass competency testing
- Candidates with 2+ years of experience do not require testing
