Travel Surgical Technologist – CVOR (Certified Surgical Technologist)
Location: Boston, MA
Start Date: 02/16/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Days | 10-hour shifts
Primary Schedule:

• 4x10s: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (primary schedule)

• Wednesdays: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

• Rotating late shift: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Call & Weekend Requirements:

• One weekend per month: Cardiac, cardiac transplant, and/or endovascular call

  • Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM

  • 30-minute on-call response time required

• One 2-hour CVI short call shift per week:

  • 5:15 PM – 7:15 PM or 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Wednesday)

• One overnight CVI call per week:

  • 7:00 PM or 7:30 PM – 6:45 AM / 7:00 AM

• Holidays eligible to work while on contract

Unit Focus:
High-acuity CVOR supporting cardiac surgery, cardiac transplant surgery, valve replacement procedures, open vascular and endovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, thoracic robotics, and select general surgery cases.

Required Qualifications:

• NBSTSA National Certification required

• Must have recent experience scrubbing cardiac and/or vascular cases (priority)

• Must have valve replacement experience

• Minimum of 2+ years related CVOR experience

• American Heart Association BLS certification required

• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate web-based applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a teaching hospital

• Specialty area expertise in cardiac and/or vascular services
