Travel Registered Nurse – Nurse Manager (Neuro ICU)
Location: Burlington, MA
Start Date: 02/16/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Days | 8-hour shifts
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for a Neuro ICU (NCCU) assignment. Neuro specialty experience is not required; strong nurse management experience is essential. The Nurse Manager oversees daily staffing and scheduling, supports clinical operations, and ensures high-quality patient care delivery. Staff utilize self-scheduling with final schedules completed by the Nurse Manager.
The Nurse Manager may float to ICUs, PCU, and Med-Surg units as needed.
Unit Details:

ICU ratios: 1:2

PCU ratios: 1:3
-
Patient population includes neuro-intensive care cases such as stroke, thrombectomy, EVS, neurosurgical cases, and EVDS.
Required Qualifications:
-
Active Massachusetts RN license
-
BLS and ACLS (AHA)
-
Epic EMR experience
-
Prior Nurse Manager experience
-
Ability to float across ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg units
Unit Procedures and Skills:
-
Patient transports to MRI and CT
-
Arterial lines, venipuncture
-
EVD placement and management
-
Post-operative craniotomy care
-
Post-TNK documentation
-
Intubation and extubation
-
High-flow nasal cannula
-
EKG monitoring
-
Central line placement and IV insertion
-
Post-stroke care, including mobilization with Sara Combilizer
