Location: Naples, FL

Shift: Days | Monday–Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years

Position Overview:
The Histology Technician demonstrates strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and technical proficiency while performing histology procedures in compliance with regulatory standards including CAP, TJC, CLIA, AABB, and OSHA. This role supports patients across all age groups and acuity levels in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all histology technical procedures in accordance with regulatory standards

• Gross all specimen types accurately and efficiently

• Prepare, process, embed, cut, stain, and mount tissue specimens

• Maintain quality control and adhere to laboratory safety protocols

• Ensure accurate documentation and specimen tracking

• Collaborate with laboratory and pathology teams to support timely diagnostics

• Float between campuses as operational needs require

Requirements:

• Active Florida Histology license

• ASCP certification

• Minimum 5 years of histology experience

• Ability to gross all specimen types independently

• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance standards

• Flexibility to float between campuses
