The Pine Ridge campus is a 365,000 square-foot, 109-bed acute care facility accredited by The Joint Commission. This landmark facility has been in the Naples Florida community since 1999. It was originally opened as Cleveland Clinic, as a satellite location. In May 2006, the facility was given the name Physicians Regional Medical Center.

Today, Physicians Regional Healthcare System is comprised of two premier Naples hospitals in Collier County with 201 licensed beds, an affiliated multispecialty physician group, and a medical staff of more than 300 physicians who are highly trained and exceptionally skilled within their fields. Pathology Assistant

Travel Pathology Assistant – Days 
Location: Naples, FL 
Assignment Length: 13 weeks 
Start Date: 02/16/26 (ASAP) 
Shift: Days | Monday–Friday 
Hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM 
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years 
Position Type: Travel Pathology Assistant

Position Overview: 
The Pathology Assistant provides high-quality anatomic pathology support with a strong focus on accurate gross examination, specimen processing, and regulatory compliance. This role requires advanced technical expertise, attention to detail, and flexibility to support operations across multiple campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>
	Perform gross examination and dissection of all specimen types
	
	</li><li>
	Accurately describe, measure, and document specimens
	
	</li><li>
	Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and chain of custody
	
	</li><li>
	Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, TJC, and OSHA standards
	
	</li><li>
	Assist with quality assurance and laboratory workflow efficiency
	
	</li><li>
	Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to support timely diagnoses
	
	</li><li>
	Float between campuses as operational needs require
	
</li></ul>

Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>
	PA (ASCP) certification
	
	</li><li>
	Minimum 5 years of Pathology Assistant experience
	
	</li><li>
	Demonstrated ability to gross all specimen types independently
	
	</li><li>
	Strong knowledge of regulatory and safety standards
	
	</li><li>
	Excellent organizational and documentation skills
	
	</li><li>
	Flexibility to float between campuses as needed
