Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Overview
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel NeuroSpine Med-Surg / Telemetry RN for a high-acuity unit caring for complex neurological, spinal, and medical patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, advanced neuro assessment skills, and comfort managing post-operative and trauma-related care.

Number of beds: 24

Patient ratios: 1:5 or 1:6

Floating required within skillset
Scope of Role
Higher-acuity Med-Surg/Telemetry patient population including:
-
Stroke and seizure patients
-
Post-operative neuro and spinal surgery patients
-
Level II trauma patients
-
Level I trauma post-ICU care
-
Additional diagnoses including DKA, renal failure, and general post-operative care
Required Skills & Responsibilities
-
Perform comprehensive neurological assessments
-
Demonstrate strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
-
Manage surgical drains and post-operative neuro/spine care
-
Chest tube management
-
Groin site management post-interventional radiology procedures
-
Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
-
Accurately document care in Cerner EMR
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

BLS Certification required
-
ACLS Certification required
-
NIHSS Certification required
