Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: New York
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 2/2
Shift: Days | 8-hour shifts
Schedule: 5 x 8-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch
Guaranteed Hours: 35 paid hours
Care Setting: Acute Care
Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an acute care facility in New York. This role requires strong technical expertise in nuclear imaging procedures, including nuclear stress testing, along with proficiency in patient preparation and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform radionuclide imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols

Conduct exercise and pharmacological nuclear stress tests

Prepare and position patients for nuclear imaging studies

Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately

Complete required documentation and data entry in the electronic medical record system

Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and hospital policies
Requirements:

Active New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist license

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB
-
BLS certification (AHA)
-
Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience

Experience working in an acute care setting
