Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Days 
Location: White Plains, NY 
Start Date: ASAP 
Assignment Length: 13 weeks 
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM 
Shift Length: 8 hours 
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
Care Setting: Acute 
Unit: Nuclear Medicine 
Charting System: EPIC 
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

Position Overview: 
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role supports high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

	Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety standards
	
	</li><li>
	Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures and ensure image quality
	
	</li><li>
	Operate and maintain imaging equipment
	
	</li><li>
	Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide patient education
	
	</li><li>
	Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
	
	</li><li>
	Follow radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols
	
	</li><li>
	Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure efficient patient flow
	
</li></ul>

Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>
	Active New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license
	
	</li><li>
	NM Certification required (ARRT or NMTCB)
	
	</li><li>
	BLS certification
	
	</li><li>
	Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
	
	</li><li>
	PET experience preferred
	
	</li><li>
	Strong patient care and technical skills
	
	</li><li>
	Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
	
</li></ul>
