Travel Physical Therapist – Inpatient 
Location: Milton, MA 
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks 
Start Date: 03/02/2026 
Schedule: Full-Time, Days 
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week 
Shift Length: 8 Hours

Shift Details:

	Primary hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
	
	</li><li>
	Some weekday shifts may run 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
	
	</li><li>
	Monday–Friday schedule
	
	</li><li>
	2 weekend shifts per month required
	
</li></ul>

Position Overview: 
The Inpatient Physical Therapist provides rehabilitative care to adult patients in an acute care setting. This role requires strong inpatient experience and the ability to manage a diverse medical and surgical caseload.

Patient Population:

<ul>
	<li>
	Elective orthopedic patients
	
	</li><li>
	General surgery
	
	</li><li>
	Medical patients
	
</li></ul>

Caseload &amp; Support:

<ul>
	<li>
	Average caseload: 10–12 patients per day
	
	</li><li>
	Current staff: 4 PTs, 2 OTs, 2 SLPs, plus multiple per diem PT and SLP staff
	
	</li><li>
	Orientation: 2–3 days
	
</li></ul>

Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>
	Evaluate and treat inpatient acute care patients
	
	</li><li>
	Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
	
	</li><li>
	Document evaluations and treatments in EPIC
	
	</li><li>
	Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
	
	</li><li>
	Educate patients and families on mobility and safety
	
</li></ul>

Qualifications:

<ul>
	<li>
	Inpatient Physical Therapy experience required
	
	</li><li>
	Active PT license
	
	</li><li>
	EPIC charting experience required
	
</li></ul>

Required Certifications:

<ul>
	<li>
	BLS Certification (AHA)
	
</li></ul>
