Travel Radiologic Technologist – MRI
Location: New York, NY
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 03/02/2026
Shift: Days
Shift Hours: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Schedule: 40 hours per week
On Call: None
Facility / Unit Overview:

Outpatient imaging center

Cardiac MRI focus

Primarily adult patients; pediatric patients on occasion

Equipment: GE 1.5T MRI Scanner

EMR/Systems: Epic, Carestream
Position Overview:
The MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI imaging in an outpatient setting, with a focus on cardiac MRI studies. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to patient safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment.
Responsibilities:

Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols

Conduct cardiac MRI studies with precision and accuracy

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper screening

Administer contrast per policy and licensure

Maintain accurate documentation in Epic/Carestream

Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff

Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:

New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License required

New York State Injection License required
-
ARRT Certification: R.T. (R) (MR) required

BLS required
-
Minimum of 2 years MRI experience required
