Travel Radiologic Technologist – MRI
Location: New York, NY
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Shift Hours: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Schedule: 40 hours per week
On Call: None

Facility / Unit Overview:

• Outpatient imaging center

• Cardiac MRI focus

• Primarily adult patients; pediatric patients on occasion

• Equipment: GE 1.5T MRI Scanner

• EMR/Systems: Epic, Carestream

Position Overview:
The MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI imaging in an outpatient setting, with a focus on cardiac MRI studies. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to patient safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols

• Conduct cardiac MRI studies with precision and accuracy

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper screening

• Administer contrast per policy and licensure

• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic/Carestream

• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff

• Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License required

• New York State Injection License required

• ARRT Certification: R.T. (R) (MR) required

• BLS required

• Minimum of 2 years MRI experience required
