• 8-hour shifts

• Guaranteed 37.5 hours per week

• Care Setting: Acute

Position Overview:
The Travel House Supervisor RN provides leadership and clinical support during off-shift hours, ensuring quality patient care and smooth hospital operations. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for clinical and operational concerns, assisting staff across multiple units, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and collective bargaining agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support unit staff and oversee patient care delivery during assigned shifts

• Identify and address operational and clinical issues promptly

• Facilitate communication and coordination between departments

• Provide conflict resolution and mediation between staff and patients

• Ensure adherence to nursing practice standards and facility policies

Requirements:

• Active RN license (NY)

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience

• ACLS and BLS certifications required

• BSN not required

• Charting System: Allscripts

• Must have strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
