Travel Anesthesia Technologist | Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 2/2/26 | Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days/Evenings | Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (rotating occasionally to 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Schedule: 5x8s | Weekends/Holidays/On Call: None
Position Summary:
Provide skilled support in the operating room and other locations where general anesthesia is administered. Prepare anesthesia equipment, assist anesthesia providers with procedures, and maintain a safe, sterile environment. Perform room turns, restock supplies, and ensure all anesthesia machines and trays are prepared for each case.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and assist with sterile trays and invasive procedures including arterial lines, CVCs, and thermodilution catheters

Troubleshoot anesthesia machines and equipment

Apply knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques

Follow infection control and safety protocols

Order, restock, and maintain anesthesia supplies and carts

Work across all areas where general anesthesia is provided
Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program

National ASATT Certification as an Anesthesia Technologist

CPR/BLS certification required

Minimum 3 years of experience preferred

Experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred
