Travel Anesthesia Technologist | Syracuse, NY

Shift: Days/Evenings | Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (rotating occasionally to 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Schedule: 5x8s | Weekends/Holidays/On Call: None

Position Summary:
Provide skilled support in the operating room and other locations where general anesthesia is administered. Prepare anesthesia equipment, assist anesthesia providers with procedures, and maintain a safe, sterile environment. Perform room turns, restock supplies, and ensure all anesthesia machines and trays are prepared for each case.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and assist with sterile trays and invasive procedures including arterial lines, CVCs, and thermodilution catheters

• Troubleshoot anesthesia machines and equipment

• Apply knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques

• Follow infection control and safety protocols

• Order, restock, and maintain anesthesia supplies and carts

• Work across all areas where general anesthesia is provided

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program

• National ASATT Certification as an Anesthesia Technologist

• CPR/BLS certification required

• Minimum 3 years of experience preferred

• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred
