HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week assignment in the Heart & Vascular Center in Syracuse, New York. This is a weekday-only opportunity with no weekends or holidays.

Position Overview

• 4x10-hour day shifts

• Cardiac procedural setting

• Focus on electrophysiology and cardiovascular procedures

• Prep and recovery of procedural patients

Preferred Experience

• Proficient Electrophysiology (EP) nursing skills

• Cardiac/ICU-level care background

• Procedural nursing experience

• Moderate sedation administration and monitoring

• Airway monitoring and recovery experience

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years RN experience (Cardiac/ICU preferred)

• At least 1.5 years recent acute care experience (within past 2 years) in a similar size/level facility

• Current New York State RN Registration

• BLS required

• ACLS required (where applicable)

• EPIC experience preferred

• Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma designation

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Additional specialty certifications/experience may include (as applicable):

• Telemetry experience

• PALS

• TNCC

• ENPC

• NNLS / EFM

• Triage experience

• Ambulatory/Primary Care experience

• Medical coding/insurance review experience

Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments in acute care setting

• Administer and monitor moderate sedation

• Assist with cardiac and electrophysiology procedures

• Prepare and recover patients from procedures

• Provide high-level cardiac monitoring and airway support

• Deliver patient care with minimal orientation and supervision
