Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care (ICU) – Nights
Syracuse, NY | 13 Weeks | Start 03/06/26 | Night Shift

HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses (RNs) for a night shift travel assignment supporting Adult ICU units in Syracuse, New York. Nurses will be placed based on clinical background and ICU experience. This is a high-acuity environment requiring strong assessment, critical thinking, and trauma exposure.

Assignment Details

• Location: Syracuse, NY

• Start Date: 03/06/26

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts

• Schedule: Set schedule

• Weekends: Every other weekend required

• Holidays: Some holidays required

Unit Overview

• Adult Critical Care / ICU

• Placement based on experience

• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma environment

• EPIC electronic medical record system

Requirements

• Active New York State RN license

• Minimum 1.5 years recent ICU experience (within the past 2 years) in a similar size acute care or trauma facility

• Prior Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferred

• EPIC experience preferred

• Current BLS certification (must be able to recertify as needed)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments in a critical care setting

• Deliver high-level nursing care with minimal orientation and supervision

• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatment

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams

• Maintain patient safety and quality standards in a high-acuity environment
