HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs for a 13-week day shift assignment in Syracuse, New York. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong adult and pediatric emergency experience in high-acuity trauma settings.

Position Overview

• Adult Emergency Department (must be comfortable with Adult & Pediatric patients)

• 12-hour day shifts (0700–1930)

• Every other weekend required

• Some holidays required

• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferred

• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN Registration (required)

• BLS certification (must be current and eligible for recertification)

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent ED experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and acuity

• Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills with ability to function independently with minimal orientation

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments

• Provide care to adult and pediatric emergency patients

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

• Function independently with minimal supervision
