Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Shift Length: 12 Hours
HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs for a 13-week day shift assignment in Syracuse, New York. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong adult and pediatric emergency experience in high-acuity trauma settings.
Position Overview
-
Adult Emergency Department (must be comfortable with Adult & Pediatric patients)
-
12-hour day shifts (0700–1930)
-
Every other weekend required
-
Some holidays required
-
Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferred
-
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Qualifications
-
Current New York State RN Registration (required)
-
BLS certification (must be current and eligible for recertification)
-
Minimum 1.5 years of recent ED experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and acuity
-
Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers
-
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills with ability to function independently with minimal orientation
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting

Perform comprehensive patient assessments
-
Provide care to adult and pediatric emergency patients
-
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
-
Function independently with minimal supervision
