Boston, MA
Start Date: 03/09/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours per Week
Shift: 12-Hour Rotating (Days & Nights)
Primary Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Rotating Position)
On-Call: None Required
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a 13-week Labor & Delivery assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a high-acuity, tertiary care environment with a strong focus on high-risk obstetrics.
Position Overview

12-hour rotating day/night schedule
-
36 hours per week
-
Minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays in a 4-week schedule
-
No on-call requirement
-
Opportunity to pick up additional shifts
Clinical Environment
-
High-volume Labor & Delivery unit
-
Tertiary care / high-risk obstetrics experience required
-
Level III NICU onsite
-
Wide range of deliveries including:
-
VBACs
-
Cesarean sections
-
Natural births
-
-
Collaborative OB, anesthesia, and neonatal teams
Requirements
-
NBSTSA certification required
-
Prior Labor & Delivery experience required
-
Tertiary / high-risk L&D experience required
-
No first-time travelers
-
Strong surgical support skills in obstetrical procedures
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
