HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call and no weekend requirements.

Position Overview

• 10-hour day shifts

• Monday through Friday schedule

• 40 guaranteed hours per week

• No on-call requirement

• No weekends

Surgical Case Mix

• Orthopedic procedures

• Plastic surgery

• General surgery

• Colorectal surgery

• Gynecologic surgery

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for surgical patients

• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor airway, hemodynamics, and pain control

• Manage Phase I and Phase II recovery as appropriate

• Administer medications and respond to post-operative complications

• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative staff

• Deliver patient and family education for discharge

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience

• AHA BLS required

• AHA ACLS required

• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills

• Ability to manage a variety of surgical patient populations
