Shift: 10-Hour Days (8:00 AM – 6:15 PM)
Hours: 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week
On-Call: None
Department: Rehab Services – Outpatient

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 13-week outpatient assignment in Cumming, Georgia. This position is within a multidisciplinary rehab department offering a wide range of specialty therapies.

Position Overview

• 10-hour day shifts

• Monday through Friday schedule

• 40 guaranteed hours per week

• No on-call requirement

• Outpatient rehabilitation setting

Clinical Environment

Multidisciplinary outpatient department including:

• Physical Therapy

• Occupational Therapy

• Speech-Language Pathology

Specialty programs include:

• Certified Hand Therapy (CHT)

• Wound Care

• Lymphedema

• Vestibular Therapy

• Aquatics

• Sports Rehabilitation

• Parkinson’s Programs

• Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) & FEES Studies

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurologic, and functional impairments

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide lymphedema management and treatment

• Document patient progress and update care plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab team

• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional strategies

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience

• Active OT license

• BLS certification required

• Lymphedema certification required

• Strong outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
