Med Surg

Travel RN – Med-Surg / Colorectal Surgery – Nights

Location: Albany, NY 
Assignment Length: 13 weeks 
Start Date: 3/30/26 
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM 
Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays 
Experience Required: 2 years

Position Overview: 
Seeking an experienced RN to provide care for post-surgical patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgeries. You will work closely with Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses to manage ostomy and wound care needs. Patient population includes post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines.

Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>
	Current New York State RN license
	
	</li><li>
	BLS certification required
	
	</li><li>
	1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing, or
	
	</li><li>
	2 years of experience without testing requirement
	
	</li><li>
	Epic EMR experience required
	
</li></ul>

Additional Notes:

<ul>
	<li>
	Candidates must have solid Med-Surg experience
	
	</li><li>
	Assignment located in a post-surgical setting with a collaborative team approach
	
</li></ul>
