Travel MRI Technologist 
Location: Newburgh, NY 
Care Setting: Acute Care | Level III Trauma Center

Assignment Start: 03/16/2026 
Duration: 13 Weeks 
Shift: Days 
Shift Length: 8 Hours 
Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Saturday &amp; Sunday) 
Guaranteed Hours: 0 hours per week

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a weekend day shift assignment at a Level III Trauma facility. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in an acute care environment and managing a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>
	Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders
	
	</li><li>
	Ensure patient safety and screening for MRI contraindications
	
	</li><li>
	Operate and maintain MRI equipment
	
	</li><li>
	Accurately document procedures in MEDITECH
	
	</li><li>
	Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams
	
	</li><li>
	Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols
	
</li></ul>

Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>
	ARRT (MR) Certification required
	
	</li><li>
	BLS Certification required
	
	</li><li>
	Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
	
	</li><li>
	NY license required for submission
	
	</li><li>
	Acute care experience preferred
	
	</li><li>
	Experience with MEDITECH preferred
