Med Surg

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg / Secure Unit – Nights 
Location: Albany, NY

Assignment Start: 03/16/2026 
Duration: 13 Weeks 
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week 
Shift: Nights 
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM 
Weekends: Every Other 
Holidays: Rotating

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN for a Secure Unit assignment at a large academic medical center in Albany, NY. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work in a structured, secure care environment.

Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>
	Active NY RN License
	
	</li><li>
	Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience
	
	</li><li>
	Epic experience required
	
	</li><li>
	BLS certification required
	
</li></ul>

Experience Criteria:

<ul>
	<li>
	1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital with a passing competency test score OR
	
	</li><li>
	2 years of experience (no competency testing required)
	
</li></ul>

Additional Details:

<ul>
	<li>
	Must be comfortable working in a secure unit setting
	
	</li><li>
	Strong assessment, time management, and documentation skills required
	
	</li><li>
	Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
	
</li></ul>
