Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)

Location

• New York (RN license required)

Department

• Fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology in a Level 1 Trauma center
• Care for inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan
• Diagnostic Imaging including CT scans, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, X-ray, and ultrasound

Job Description

• Responsible for pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care of IR patients
• Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure (23-hour care)
• Work within a multidisciplinary team
• High energy environment requiring good communication, critical thinking, flexibility, enthusiasm, and organization
• Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred
• Telemetry experience is required

Requirements

• Specialty: Interventional Radiology Nursing
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years Registered IR Nursing experience
• Licenses: New York RN license only
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association only)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association only)
• Experience: Telemetry experience required

Schedule and Additional Information

• D/E/N rotating shift schedule
• Floating, holidays, weekends, on call/callback, and charge per unit needs
• Contract length options considered: 13 or 17 weeks
