Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

Job Overview

• Deliver superior quality nursing care aligned with organizational core values.

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
• Provide timely patient status updates during initial and weekly team conferences.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
• Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs on assigned units.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
• Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Maintain personal and environmental safety in compliance with hospital policies.
• Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
• Coordinate with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
• Prioritize activities and manage time and staff effectively to meet patient needs.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Requirements

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (for CIRH positions).
• Minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience highly desired.
• No holiday return to office (RTO) required.

Additional Notes

• RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.
• Commitment to safety includes focus areas such as safe patient handling, materials handling, infectious disease control, and fall prevention.
