Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric & Adult Brain Injury Unit

Job Description

• Work with an interdisciplinary team caring for adult and pediatric patients recovering from brain injuries caused by oncologic surgery, falls, strokes, and motor vehicle injuries.
• Position is in a brand new, state-of-the-art unit.
• Provide clinical and emotional support to patients and their families as they regain independence.
• Ideal for candidates who value teamwork, flexibility, enthusiasm, critical thinking, and have a strong desire to help patients learn new skills.
• Recent pediatric experience is required.

Requirements

• Specialty: Nursing with recent pediatric experience
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years
• Licensure: RN License (New York state license only)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment Response)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Skills: Telemetry experience required
• Schedule: Rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights; weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge per unit needs
