Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Opportunity
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Deliver superior quality nursing care aligned with core company values.
- Prioritize patient and employee safety in all aspects of work.
- Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
- Develop individualized plans of care based on assessments.
- Identify patient teaching needs and collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide timely patient status updates during team conferences.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
- Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
- Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission.
- Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
- Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
- Ensure personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
- Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
- Maintain communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
- Prioritize and plan activities to meet patient needs effectively.
Requirements
- Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience (highly desired).
- Certifications:
- BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
- ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (for CIRH only).
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required.
