Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Opportunity

Job Overview

• Deliver superior quality nursing care while embracing core values such as teamwork, resourcefulness, and results orientation.
• Prioritize patient and employee safety through adherence to safety policies and awareness in areas including safe patient handling, infectious diseases, and work environment hazards.
• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
• Provide timely patient information for team conferences and document all assessments and interventions accurately.
• Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning from admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status effectively to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain a positive, calm, and efficient work environment through team building and effective communication.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities following orientation as requested.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience (including PCU, Critical Care, or Step-Down units).
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (for certain roles).
• Experience supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.

Contract Length

• Approximately 52 weeks (1 year).
