Job Overview

• Deliver superior quality nursing care aligned with core company values.

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
• Provide timely patient status updates during team conferences.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
• Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
• Contribute positively to unit functioning and participate in team-building activities.
• Maintain communication with management regarding service needs and resources.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
• Prioritize activities and staff planning to meet patient needs effectively.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience.
• Certifications: BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• Supervisory Role: Responsible for supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
