Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Opportunity

Job Overview

  • Deliver superior quality nursing care aligned with core company values.
  • Prioritize patient and employee safety in all aspects of care.
  • Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on assessments.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
  • Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from admission.
  • Communicate changes in patient status to care team members.
  • Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing staff.
  • Ensure personal and environmental safety according to policies.
  • Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
  • Maintain communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs.
  • Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
  • Prioritize activities and staff to meet patient needs effectively.

Requirements

  • BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
  • ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (for certain roles).
  • Minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience highly desired.

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Additional Notes

  • The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
  • Emphasis on teamwork, resourcefulness, and results-oriented care.
  • Strong focus on safety including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard awareness.
