Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Opportunity

Job Overview

• Deliver superior quality nursing care while adhering to core values such as respect, teamwork, and resourcefulness.
• Prioritize patient and employee safety by following safety protocols including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard reporting.
• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning starting from admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status effectively to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain a safe environment in accordance with hospital policies.
• Contribute positively to unit functioning and participate in team-building activities.
• Manage supplies and equipment needs to support quality patient outcomes.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Requirements

• Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience.
• Clinical Experience: PCU (Progressive Care Unit), Critical Care, or Step-Down experience required.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (for CIRH only).
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required.

Contract Length

• 52 weeks (approximately 1 year).
